Sam Shade introduced as 22nd head coach of Alabama A&M football

An exciting day here in the Huntsville, Alabama A&M, naming their new head football coach in Sam Shade. What *** journey it's been for Shade. Just in 2020, he was the head coach in Penson Valley. Then he took over at Miles, winning one game in the first year, then 10 last year. It's been an impressive three-year turnaround for the Golden Bears. Now he's got the keys to *** D1 program and he's excited, but he doesn't forget where it all started. Well, Miles meant so much because number one, Doctor Bobby Knight, she gave me an opportunity to be *** college head football coach. Before anybody else did, and I'll always be grateful for that and very appreciative. It was *** special place for me. I grew up 10 minutes away from that campus, so *** lot of good people that treated me really good. Of course, when you think of Alabama A&M in this state, you think of the Magic City Classic. Sam Shade is excited to go head to head against Alabama State. We talk more about that matchup in Birmingham with Sam Shade coming up at 6 o'clock here in Huntsville, Ryan Hennessy WVTM 13.
