On September 5, 2023, the new building held its grand opening ceremony, making way for students to gain invaluable, unique experiences in the real estate industry. Here’s what you need to know.

Samford students will be able to learn valuable real estate concepts at the new facility. (Bham Now)Whether in high school or college, we’re all familiar with school labs. However, the first thing that comes to mind when you hear the word “lab” is probably not real estate.
However, the new Fairway Commercial Real Estate Lab is changing that for business students at Samford University.
Samford’s Brock School of Business and Fairway Investments have partnered to offer business students a unique learning experience through the new lab and the new real estate concentration that complements any business major.
Courses in the concentration include:
- Real estate law
- Professional selling
- Real estate finance + investment
The new Fairway Commercial Real Estate lab will be the high-tech hub where students get hands-on experience in these topics and beyond.
