A low-pressure system from the northwest will bring another bout of rain and wind gusts to the Coachella Valley beginning Monday.
The National Weather Service says showers are possible from Tuesday through Thursday in Palm Springs and throughout the Coachella Valley.
The greatest chance of heavy rain will come Wednesday and Thursday. Gusts are expected to peak at 55 to 65 miles per hour Thursday through Friday.

NWS expects snow to hover at 5,000 to 6,000 feet until Tuesday before falling to around 2,500 to 3,000 feet in the San Bernardino mountains.
The sun should remain through the weekend, with temperatures in the upper 70s throughout the desert.
