Shelby woman killed in head-on collision

A woman from Shelby died after a head-on crash near Columbiana.The Alabama State Troopers reported Jacqueline Lowery, 82, was driving on Shelby County 47 when the vehicle collided with another just before 4 p.m.The crash happened several miles south of Columbiana.The state trooper said Lowery died at the scene and the other driver was injured and taken to a hospital.The investigation is ongoing.

A woman from Shelby died after a head-on crash near Columbiana.
