By Wednesday and Thursday mornings, lows could plummet to the mid and upper 30s across the north to low 40s further south. If winds die down, that could mean some spots get their first frost of the season. Our usual first frost of the season occurs around or after Oct. 25 for most of North and Central Alabama.
