THIS MIDDAY, AS MANY FAMILIES GET READY TO GATHER FOR THANKSGIVING FEAST, CENTRAL ALABAMA SPORTS TEAMS ARE WORKING TO FIGHT HUNGER IN OUR AREA. THIS MORNING THEY DROPPED OFF DONATIONS AT THE COMMUNITY FOOD BANK OF CENTRAL ALABAMA, THE BIRMINGHAM STALLIONS, BIRMINGHAM BARONS, BIRMINGHAM BULLS AND THE BIRMINGHAM LEGION, AS WELL AS BIRMINGHAM SQUADRON, ALL PARTICIPATED IN THIS FOOD DRIVE WITH THE HELP OF FANS, THEY COLLECTED CANNED GOODS TO HELP THOSE IN NEED. TEAM ORGANIZERS SAY THEY ARE PROUD TO SEE FANS SUPPORT THEM OUTSIDE OF THE PLAYING FIELD. IT’S AWESOME THAT THEY TAKE TO HEART OUR GIVING BACK IN THE COMMUNITY, AND THEY’RE GIVING BACK IN THE COMMUNITY AND THE OPPORTUNITY TO PARTNER WITH THE OTHER FIVE TEAMS. Team work makes the dream work, which is why local teams are coming together to serve the community.The Birmingham Stallions, the Birmingham Barons, the Birmingham Bulls, the Birmingham Legion and the Birmingham Squadron all participated in this food drive.With the help of fans, they collected canned goods to help those in need.
