Joker: Folie à Deux, the musical sequel to 2019’s hit Joker, stands to be a commercial flop with a predicted loss of as much as $200m at the box office.
This has not been helped by a string of poor reviews from critics, as well as the likes of writer-director Paul Schrader (Taxi Driver, Raging Bull), who revealed on Tuesday that he only lasted about 20 minutes before leaving the cinema.
Now we’d like to hear your thoughts. Did you dislike the sequel, or has it been unfairly maligned?
