That influence will be an enhancement of the northeasterly breeze and even cooler air. This will result in a pleasant, fall feel lasting through the week and into the weekend.Daytime highs drop to the upper 70s and low 80s. This will feel very pleasant under full sunshine.The most noticeable drop in temperatures will be during the mornings. Lows will dip into the 50s. The coolest morning will likely be on Friday and Saturday. Some communities may even dip into the upper 40s.THE WEEKENDThe weekend starts with a cool, dry Saturday morning. The perfect fall weather continues into the afternoon with highs in the low 80s. The same forecast repeats on Sunday.It could be a long time before we have significant rain in North and Central Alabama. We certainly don't see any signals of rain over the next seven days. Longer-range ensemble guidance only gives us a 10 to 20 percent chance of more than one-tenth of an inch of rainfall through Oct. 21.BEACH FORECASTHurricane Milton will send some large swells and dangerous rip currents to the Alabama Gulf Coast this week.
