
A new exhibition at the National Portrait Gallery in Canberra shows more than 140 images by Australian photographer. Carol Jerrems is best known for her intimate portraits of friends, family and the 1970s arts scene. Despite a short career, spanning only 12 years before her death at 30, Jerrems holds a celebrated place in Australian photographic history and continues to shape how we think about photography today, curators say
