Tri-Parish Works is now accepting registration for their Back to Work 50+ program. The program is designed to help older, unemployed workers gain the skills and confidence they need to be more competitive in the job market.

Tri-Parish Works, which serves St. Tammany, St. Bernard, and Plaquemines parishes, will offer the free program in-person in Slidell and Belle Chasse, as well as online. It will include a 1-hour overview workshop and three 2-hour coaching sessions held over a two-week period. The program is meant to provide a roadmap for how to compete for in-demand jobs.

The program begins July 18 online and in Slidell and July 25 in Belle Chasse.

The program will culminate with employer networking events featuring employers from the job seekers targeted business sectors in both Slidell and Belle Chasse

Register at aarpfoundation.org/register or by calling 1-855-850-2525. For further information contact Andrea Gazaway at Tri-Parish Works at 985-646-3940.
