From television personalities to traditional Republicans. Even former Democrats president elect Donald Trump is settling on who will carry out his agenda. The one through line there is loyalty to Trump. The president elect is naming some of the final additions to his cabinet including Oregon. Congresswoman Laurie Chavez Deremer as labor secretary. Analysts say it's an interesting choice given her labor record. This is kind of the, the the test of is this AAA type of realignment going on with the Republican party who they're trying to capture that working class message. She joins *** list of other cabinet picks who require senate confirmation *** chamber which will soon be under Republican control. People will start to focus in and if there are reasons not to confirm them enough reason that Republicans feel uncomfortable with it, then the nominations will be in trouble after intense scrutiny. Matt Gates stepped aside as nominee for attorney general and others. Now in the spotlight, Maxing skeptic Robert F. Kennedy Jr for Health and Human Services Secretary Pete Hegseth for defense secretary and former Democratic Congresswoman Tulsi Gabbard, Director of National Intelligence. I think she's compromised. Democratic senators are raising concern after Gabbard held *** secret meeting with Syria's President and made comments supportive of Russia. Some Republicans are coming to her defense. There's no reason why the Democrats are going after her other than the fact that they're upset that she left their woke party.

President-elect Donald Trump's transition team on Tuesday signed an agreement to allow the Justice Department to conduct background checks on his nominees and appointees after a weeks-long delay.The step lets Trump transition aides and future administration staffers obtain security clearances before Inauguration Day to access classified information about ongoing government programs. It also allows those nominees who are up for Senate confirmation to get the background checks lawmakers want before voting on them.“This agreement with the Department of Justice will ensure President Trump and his team are ready on Day 1 to begin enacting the America First Agenda that an overwhelming majority of our nation supported on Election Day," said Susie Wiles, Trump's designate to be White House chief of staff.
