Once again this year, readers have a chance to vote for the Cunningham Bounds Coastal Alabama Football Player of the Week.

Coaches can submit statistics following their games on Friday night or nominate players before noon each Saturday.

Nominations must come from a coach or official team statistician. They can be emailed to bthomas@al.com .

Voting is open until Wednesday morning. The winner will be announced on AL.com on Thursday.

Here are the nominees from Week 6:

Jeremiah Connolly, Citronelle: Connolly had 9 tackles, 2 tackles for a loss, 3 quarterback pressures and a pass breakup in his team’s win at Alma Bryant.

Gage Davis, Florala: Davis threw six touchdown passes, five in the first half, on the way to a 45-14 road victory at Bayshore Christian on Thursday night. He finished 11-of-16 for 304 yards.

Newton Gardner, Spanish Fort: Gardner’s interception return for a touchdown late in the fourth quarter sealed the Toros win over rival Daphne.

Myles Johnson, T.R. Miller: The Florida commit ran for 138 yards and a pair of TDs on 21 carries in the top-ranked Tigers win over UMS-Wright.

Ladarian Miller, McGill-Toolen: Miller rushed for 180 yards on 15 carries with two touchdowns and caught a touchdown pass to lead McGill-Toolen to a 42-13 win over Davidson at the Archbishop Lipscomb Complex.

Taijh Overton, Williamson: Overton had 12 tackles, a fumble return for a touchdown and a blocked punt that resulted in another score in the Lions’ win over Murphy.

Jason Todd, Mobile Christian: Todd ran 32 times for 286 yards, two touchdowns and a 2-point conversion in Mobile Christian’s loss to St. Stanislaus, Miss.

JaMarcus Washington, Clarke County: Washington scored on a 78-yard touchdown run and had two TD receptions of 80 and 85 yards in his team’s win over Millry.
