Tonight: Temperatures will be in the low to middle 60s with mostly clear skies.

Monday: We’ll begin the work week on a gorgeous note as temperatures rise into the low to middle 80s with partly cloudy skies. There is a very tiny chance for an afternoon pop-up shower.

This Week: Our afternoon highs will climb slightly into the middle 80s as we head into midweek with the small chance for an afternoon or evening downpour possible. Any storm activity will be limited and very isolated through Wednesday, so odds remain in our favor to stay dry before the next cold front arrives.

Thursday and Friday will provide a bit more rain and storm coverage as a front sweeps through. This front will be slow-moving, so we may see a few periods of showers and storms anytime from Thursday afternoon into Friday evening. Organized severe weather is not anticipated, but a gusty storm or two can’t be ruled out.

We’ll clear things out Friday night and shape us up for a delightful weekend as relatively cooler air settles in behind the cold front. This will allow our morning lows to fall back to near-average or slightly cooler than average in the middle 50s with some locations north of I-20 likely dipping into the 40s for much of next week. Dry air will shut down our rain chances, leading to several days of nice, sunny weather with more comfortable humidity and highs in the upper 70s to lower 80s.
