Warming trend continues, rain arrives Sunday evening

Weekend Outlook: A slight warming trend is forecast this weekend ahead of an upper-level wave and another cold front with southerly winds. Saturday will be mostly sunny with high temperatures around 50. The cold front will move into Alabama late on Sunday with a few late-day showers that will become more widespread Sunday night. High temperatures will be in the upper 40s. Sunday night will be rainy with lows in the upper 30s, so no wintry precipitation is expected.

Next Week's Outlook: Milder temperatures are expected throughout the week. Monday will have morning rain and become partly cloudy in the afternoon. Highs will be in the 50s. Tuesday will be mostly sunny with highs in the upper 50s. Wednesday will have scattered showers with highs in the lower 60s. Thursday will be mostly cloudy with a few showers. Highs fall to the middle 50s. Friday will be unsettled with a chance for rain and high temperatures in the 50s.
