
BIRMINGHAM, Ala. (WIAT) -- A woman died after being attacked by a pack of dogs in Tuscaloosa County Thursday morning.
According to the Tuscaloosa County Sheriff's Office, deputies and Animal Control were called to a home in the 13000 block of Boyd Road at 9 a.m. Thursday regarding a call about a woman that was being attacked by dogs outside the home.
The victim, whose name has not been released, later died, despite efforts by law enforcement to save her life.
"The incident occurred in the yard and on the property that the dogs belonged to and the victim came to the residence to feed the dogs for the owner who was out of town," a statement read. "At this time this appears to be a non criminal incident and out of respect for the victims family no other details will be released."
