1 killed, 3 others injured in Blount County crash
A Union Grove man died after a two-vehicle crash in Blount County on June 29.The Alabama State Troopers said Shannon Gatlin, 57, was a passenger in a small SUV on Highway 75 just south of Susan Moore when it collided head-on with an armored vehicle at about 12:50 p.m.Gatlin, along with the driver and another passenger in the SUV, were taken to hospitals, where Gatlin later died, said the state troopers.Follow: Interactive traffic mapThe driver of the armored vehicle was also injured and taken away for medical treatment as well. A Union Grove man died after a two-vehicle crash in Blount County on June 29.
The Alabama State Troopers said Shannon Gatlin, 57, was a passenger in a small SUV on Highway 75 just south of Susan Moore when it collided head-on with an armored vehicle at about 12:50 p.m.
Gatlin, along with the driver and another passenger in the SUV, were taken to hospitals, where Gatlin later died, said the state troopers.
