A woman, teenager and toddler were getting medical treatment after a shooting incident in the Collegeville area of Birmingham.According to Officer Truman Fitzgerald of the Birmingham Police Department (BPD), officers were called to check a person shot in the 2900 block of 29th Avenue North just after 6 p.m.Police officers found a woman lying unresponsive in an apartment suffering from an apparent gunshot wound and was taken to UAB Hospital with life-threatening injuries, Fitzgerald said. According to Officer Truman Fitzgerald of the Birmingham Police Department (BPD), officers were called to check a person shot in the 2900 block of 29th Avenue North just after 6 p.m.

Police officers found a woman lying unresponsive in an apartment suffering from an apparent gunshot wound and was taken to UAB Hospital with life-threatening injuries, Fitzgerald said.
