Anne Hathaway has signed on to star in "Verity," the film adaptation of Colleen Hoover's best-selling book. Hathaway will play Verity Crawford, a famous author who becomes incapacitated in a car accident, leaving her unable to finish her latest book series. Verity's husband hires a struggling young writer to complete the task, leading to a psychological thrill ride between the past and present."Verity" was self-published by Hoover in 2018 and became a New York Times bestseller selling more than a million copies in 2023. This is Hoover's second novel to hit the big screen. Her book "It Ends With Us" was released in 2024 starring Blake Lively.
