Video above: Initial coverage of the shooting.The Birmingham Police Department made an arrest in the fatal shooting of a man last week.It happened just before 9 p.m. on Tuesday, June 20, near the 900 block of 25th Street Southwest; police say two people, a man and a woman, were found suffering from gunshot wounds.Jarvis Jerome Conley, Jr., 24, of Birmingham, was pronounced dead at the scene while the female victim, who was said to be seriously injured, was taken to an area hospital and treated for her injuries.Stay up-to-date: The latest headlines and weather from WVTM 13 Police believe the victims went to that location and met someone that one of them knew.
