Birmingham man found shot inside apartment, later died at hospital
The Birmingham Police Department is investigating the city's 28th murder of 2023.According to information from the BPD, officers responded to the 600 block of Earline Circle at about 2:15 a.m. April 17 to check for a person shot.Officers located Brandon Uqrhart, 22, of Birmingham, inside an apartment and was injured from an apparent gunshot wound.The victim was taken to UAB Hospital, where he later died, said the police department.The BPD believes Uqrhart was shot outside the apartment and the suspect ran away.No one is in custody at this time.
