WE HAVE BEEN FOLLOWING ALL MORNING WHILE YOU WERE SLEEPING. BIRMINGHAM POLICE INVESTIGATING FOUR DIFFERENT SHOOTING SCENES. THEY ARE ALL ON YOUR SCREEN RIGHT NOW. HERE’S WHAT WE KNOW. THREE PEOPLE ARE DEAD. TWO PEOPLE ARE HURT. WANT TO GET RIGHT OVER TO SARAH KILLIAN WITH THIS BREAKING NEWS? YES, SCOTT. VERY BUSY MORNING AND NIGHT FOR BIRMINGHAM POLICE WHILE YOU WERE SLEEPING. LET’S GO AHEAD AND TAKE A LOOK THROUGH THESE INVESTIGATIONS. LET’S GO AHEAD AND START AT WOODLAWN HIGH SCHOOL. POLICE TELLING US THAT A TEEN WAS SHOT BEHIND THE SCHOOL FOLLOWING A BASKETBALL GAME THERE LAST NIGHT. WE’RE TOLD THAT HE IS A HIGH SCHOOL STUDENT, BUT HE DOES NOT GO TO WOODLAWN. WE’VE BEEN UPDATED THAT HE IS IN THE HOSPITAL. SO FAR, NO ONE HAS BEEN ARRESTED. AND JUST BEFORE THAT, OVER ON 26TH STREET, NORTH BIRMINGHAM POLICE TELLING US THEY FOUND A MAN SHOT INSIDE OF A CRASHED VEHICLE. YOU CAN SEE THAT TRUCK THERE WHERE HE CRASHED INTO A POLE RIGHT OUTSIDE OF A FAMILY DOLLAR STORE. THE MAN WAS THEN RUSHED TO UAB. RIGHT NOW WE DON’T KNOW HIS CONDITION SO FAR. NO ONE IS IN CUSTODY IN THAT SHOOTING. THEN AROUND 930 LAST NIGHT, A WITNESS CALLED POLICE AFTER SEEING A CAR GOING BACKWARDS. THEN PARK ON THE SIDEWALK OUTSIDE OF AN ABANDONED HOUSE. THIS WAS OVER ON PRINCETON AVENUE. POLICE TELLING US A MAN AND WOMAN FOUND SHOT TO DEATH INSIDE. AND EARLY THIS MORNING, POLICE CALLED OUT TO ANOTHER DEADLY SHOOTING, THIS TIME OVER IN THE EASTLAKE COMMUNITY. AND THAT’S WHERE WVTM 13 IS. BRYCE OSELEN IS LIVE THIS MORNING. THIS IS OVER ON EXETER AVENUE. AND BRYCE, WHAT ARE YOU SEEING OUT THERE? RIGHT NOW? YEAH, THE BIRMINGHAM POLICE DEPARTMENT IS INVESTIGATING A HOMICIDE THAT TOOK PLACE ON THE 6800 BLOCK OF EXETER AVENUE. NOW, THIS TOOK PLACE RIGHT BEHIND ME. WE’VE SEEN CREWS COME AND GO ALL MORNING. POLICE SAY THIS ALL BEGAN AROUND 2 A.M. THERE WAS A GATHERING AT A HOUSE NEARBY. A VERBAL ALTERCATION BROKE OUT IN THE HOME. A MAN WAS SHOT AND FOUND DEAD ON THE FLOOR. POLICE SAY SHOTSPOTTER COUNTED 14 ROUNDS OF BULLETS. POLICE SAY THERE WERE MULTIPLE WITNESSES IN THE HOUSE, AND THEY PLAN TO INTERVIEW THOSE WITNESSES. 7 p.m. Tuesday night

A person was hospitalized Tuesday night after being found with gunshot wounds inside of a crashed vehicle in North Birmingham.

Officers arrived to the 3100 block of 26th Street North just after 7 p.m. and found a person in the driver's seat of a crashed vehicle, suffering from an apparent gunshot wound. The victim was taken to UAB Hospital.

9:50 p.m. Tuesday night

A Jackson-Olin High School football player is dead after being taken off life support Wednesday afternoon.

That's according to Birmingham School Board Member Jason Meadows.

Gerald Lomax, 17, was shot after a basketball game at Woodlawn High School Tuesday night.
