Deadly double shooting near Birmingham gas station

MORNING. POLICE NOW CONFIRMING TO US THAT ONE PERSON WAS KILLED IN A DOUBLE SHOOTING. IT HAPPENED AROUND 2:30 THIS MORNING NEAR THE MARATHON GAS STATION ON 4TH AVENUE NORTH IN DOWNTOWN BIRMINGHAM. INVESTIGATORS SAY AN OFFICER WAS FLAGGED DOWN FROM A MAN SAYING HE AND FRIEND HAD BEEN SHOT. POLICE ATTEMPTED C-P-R ON THE MAN BUT HE WAS LATER PRONOUNCED DEAD AT UAB. NO ARRESTED HAVE BEEN MADE.
