Friday in both Montgomery and Walker counties mayhem on or at least near the highway. *** total of four motorcyclists shot along I 45 in two separate but connected incidents say police. It happened in Montgomery County first about 11 AM. We have 1 32 year old white male who was shot. He is *** member of an outlaw motorcycle gang. We've now learned that man not yet publicly identified died late Friday afternoon in the hospital. It's unclear if he had been shot on the highway or the feeder road, but he managed to call 911 himself after being shot in the back while riding *** motorcycle. And then it happened again and again, it was deadly further north on I 45 near Huntsville. We're also aware that there is another incident in Walker County involving fatalities in that attack believed to be carried out by the same motorcycle gang but not the same person. At least three more motorcyclists were shot and two of them are dead. According to the Walker County Sheriff's office, the investigations are still fresh but the motive appears to be *** rivalry between two motorcycle gangs and Friday it all spilled out in public.

His condition was not immediately known."The three victims were all wearing clothing and insignia that indicated they were part of an outlaw motorcycle gang," Huntsville police said in a statement. "Investigators believe at this time that incident in Huntsville and the shooting that took place in (Spring) are related."Squier said while the shootings appear to be gang-related, "it is believed there is no threat to the general public at this time.”The investigation of the shooting in Huntsville shut down for several hours a portion of I-45, causing long traffic delays.
