Donald Trump, the 45th and 47th president of the United States, begins his second term today. He becomes the first president to be a convicted felon, the first to take office after being impeached, and the oldest person to take office. He is just the second president in history to serve nonconsecutive terms. Here, take a look at Donald Trump's life in photos:
1950

By the 80s, he had established himself as a major player in New York real estate, and he wrote a book, "The Art of the Deal." But quickly, he faced financial difficulties. Per UVA's Miller Center, "Trump borrowed significant amounts of money to fund the hotels and casinos. The situation grew so severe in 1990 that Fred Trump, then in his 80s, purchased more than $3 million in casino chips at Trump Castle so the casino could make an interest payment."
