Tonight: Temperatures will be a little warmer tonight, only dropping into the upper half of the 30s with mostly cloudy skies. A few rain showers are likely over west-central Alabama, but most of us stay dry.
Monday: We’ll start the day with some clouds, but we’ll return to sunshine by the late morning with highs reaching the lower half of the 60s. It will shape out to be a very pleasant day.
This Week: Highs will continue climbing into the 70s by Wednesday for all of us. A few of us will hit 70° on Tuesday, so the middle of this week is shaping up to be very nice. Dry weather and ample sunshine will be with us before a cold front swings through here on Thursday. This front has slowed down some, so it now appears we’ll have to deal with some rain showers in spots on Thursday afternoon.
Otherwise, much of the region will remain dry since there will be little moisture and lift along the cold front. However, it will cool us down slightly for the second half of this week. Highs will get knocked down to the lower 60s for Thursday and Friday, but we’ll still be above average. Sunshine is in the forecast for the second half of this week with no significant or impactful weather looming beyond the seven day forecast. A very quiet pattern is settling into the South over the next week.
