THE ROGERS FIRE DEPARTMENT WAS CALLED TO HELP RESCUE A CAT THAT HAD BEEN STUCK IN A TREE FOR AT LEAST 5 DAYS. MORE THAN 30 FEET IN THE AIR! IT TOOK THE CREW LESS THAN AN HOUR TO SET-UP THEIR LADDER AND CLIMB UP TO RESCUE THE CAT, WHICH REMAINED CALM THE WHOLE TIME. THE CAT IS SAFE AND BEING CARED FOR BY THE FAMILY THAT CALLED FOR HELP. At least, that's what happened Saturday in north Rogers. The Rogers Fire Department was called to help rescue a cat that had been stuck in a tree for at least five days. The cat was more than 30 feet high. It took crews less than an hour to set up their ladder and climb up to rescue the cat. The cat remained calm during the rescue and is now being cared for by the family that called for help.
