At least one person was getting medical attention, after a shooting incident in northeast Jefferson County.According to a sheriff's office spokesperson, deputies were called to Dean Road near Highway 79, where they soon learned a homeowner possibly shot a person believed to be burglarizing the home.The shooting victim was taken to UAB Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, said the Jefferson County Sheriff's Office (JCSO) spokesperson.There's no word if anyone else was injured.The investigation is ongoing.
