He believes it will relieve a lot of heavy traffic congestion on Highway 150 in west Hoover. “Taking these large tractor trailers that are on the road, man, that are dangerous. It will take them off of Highway 150 and dump them right into this new interchange,” Brocato said.Work on the $120 million project kicks off this summer and should take about 2-3 years to complete. Brocato also took the chance to celebrate the ongoing $23 million renovations to the Hoover Met Stadium, to keep the SEC Baseball Tournament in town.
