AS WE TAKE A LOOK AT THE WVTM 13 LIVE DOPPLER, YOU CAN SEE THAT MUCH OF THE RAIN HAS NOW COME TO AN END. STILL THOUGH, A FEW AREAS OF DRIZZLE IN EAST ALABAMA. THAT’S JUST ABOUT IT. THE BULK OF THE HEAVIER RAIN NOW. GEORGIA, THE CAROLINAS, FLORIDA PANHANDLE. STILL, THOUGH, YOU CAN SEE A LOT OF CLOUD COVER OVER RICE BACK INTO MISSISSIPPI. SO I DON’T THINK THE CLOUDS ARE GOING TO BE QUICK TO DEPART. SO IT’S GOING TO BE A VERY CHILLY SATURDAY NIGHT AND EARLY SUNDAY MORNING. 41 GETS TO TOMORROW MORNING, 46. BIRMINGHAM AND TUSCALOOSA, RIGHT AROUND 46. AND CLINTON, 43 DEGREES IN COLEMAN. SO LET’S DETAIL THAT EASTER SUNDAY FORECAST FOR SUNRISE SERVICES TOMORROW. TEMPERATURES IN THE FORTIES. WE’LL START OFF THE DAY LIKELY UNDER MOSTLY CLOUDY SKIES, BUT MOST IMPORTANTLY, DRY WEATHER IN THAT FORECAST. A LITTLE MILDER AT MIDDAY, 65, 60 DEGREES LATER ON IN THE EVENING SUN GOES DOWN. It gets a little milder through the day; expect highs in the mid to upper 60s with a mostly cloudy sky and an east wind around 10 to 20 miles per hour.A cool air ‘wedge’ in place this weekend, sets up through the early part of next week. That means more cooler-than-normal weather through at least Tuesday. Lows will be in the 40's and highs in the upper 60's Monday and low to mid 70's Tuesday.Later into the week, a slow-moving system gets left behind by the jet stream; a cut-off low near the Gulf Coast will hold some sway over rain chances and temperatures. The farther north it drifts, the more likely it is that Central Alabama gets another wet, cool period from next Thursday through the weekend. At this time it looks like Thursday and Friday will be the wettest two days, although it does not look as soaking wet as Saturday did across central Alabama. Easter Sunday sunrise services look damp and chilly: temperatures around 6 AM in the 40's. It gets a little milder through the day; expect highs in the mid to upper 60s with a mostly cloudy sky and an east wind around 10 to 20 miles per hour.
