A Guide to the Kennedy Family Tree: Inside the Political Family’s A-List Hollywood Ties!
Jack Schlossberg has an unusual question about his grandma.
During the 2025 Presidential Inauguration of Donald Trump, the political correspondent—who is the only grandson of late President John F. Kennedy and Jack Kennedy Onassis—raised eyebrows when he asked others to compare the attractiveness of his relative and Vice President JD Vance's wife Usha Vance.
"True or false," Jack wrote in a Jan. 20 post on X. "Usha Vance is way hotter than Jackie O."
In response to the comment, some fans felt a little uncomfortable, with one user writing on X, "Gonna be honest man, I think most people don’t do hotness rankers involving their grandmas."
Another added, "It's not too late to delete this."
And while Jack—whose parents are Caroline Kennedy and designer Edwin Schlossberg—acknowledged their criticisms, he didn't retract his statement.
"I’m a literal pervert," the 32-year-old wrote in a separate message on X Jan. 20 in response to the backlash. "I called my grandmother hot… have I totally lost it ? Jesus … this kid will do anything for attention. Your grandfather would be ashamed. Seriously. Time to get a job."
However, Jack wasn't only met with negativity. Some fans were convinced his question must be a comedic bit.
"Jack NOOO this may be taking the trolling too far!" one user wrote on X, while another jokingly answered his question, writing, "I would say Usha Vance is a little hotter than Jackie, but that's just personal preference... I think we can both agree that they are two *very* foxy ladies, am I right Jack, my man???"

And Jack seemed to take their reactions to his message all in good fun as well, responding to the latter comment, "Really appreciate this take thanks Sam."
After all, the writer has previously shared that his goal on the internet is to "add a little bit of levity and humor"—even if not everyone gets his jokes.
"If it’s all so serious all the time, it’s just too heavy,” he told Town & Country in August 2024. “I think a lot of people are confused, but I think a lot of people understand what I’m doing.”
