The Challenge alumni Nany González and Kaycee Clark have called it quits on their relationship.

The reality stars announced the news Jan. 25, more than a year after they announced their engagement.

"After a lot of reflection, Kaycee and I have decided to go our separate ways," Nany wrote on her Instagram Stories. This definitely wasn't an easy decision, but it's what's best for the both of us."

The post continued, "Thank you to everyone who has supported us along the way—we're both moving forward with love and kindness in our hearts & we ask that you respect our need for privacy at this time. Love, Nany & Kaycee."

Kaycee, who shared a near-identical statement on social media at the same time, and her former partner did not give a reason for their breakup.

They announced their split amid recent fan speculation about their relationship status that was sparked earlier this month when Nany deleted all posts from her Instagram grid except for her cast photo for The Challenge All Stars: Rivals, which she had shared in December.

The former couple met on the set of The Challenge: Total Madness, which aired in 2020, and went on to compete on The Challenge: Double Agents and Spies, Lies & Allies.

"We've always been allies in the game and have maintained a very good friendship since, but there was always an undeniable connection between the two of us," Nany told E! News in July 2021. "I think this upcoming season of The Challenge is where we really explore what that connection is and what it means."

The pair officially began their relationship one month after she made her comments. The two announced their engagement in September 2023, sharing a video of the moment Nany proposed to Kaycee on Thailand's Phi Phi Islands.

"From the moment I met this woman, I knew that she was someone special," she wrote on Instagram Sept. 17. "Our paths crossed in the most unexpected way, and I am forever grateful for that chance encounter."

Nany continued, "My heart is full of love and gratitude for the joy you have brought into my life, Kaycee Noelle. Our love is unconditional, a love that is meant to last a lifetime, and I am blessed to spend the rest of my days growing old and loving you every step of the way."

Last year, the two shared in multiple videos they recorded for Kaycee's YouTube channel that they hoped to one day start a family.

"Baby, when we have kids, we're gonna put this in their room," Kaycee told Nany on a thrift store shopping trip documented in November, pointing to a novelty sign that read, "Run wild my child," to which the star's now-ex responded, "I love that."
