SZA Reveals the Advice She Got From Keke Palmer For Their Film ‘One of Them Days’ (Exclusive)
Kendrick Lamar is bringing all the star power to the NFL.
Ahead of his headlining performance at the 2025 Super Bowl halftime show in New Orleans Feb. 9, the hip-hop star confirmed he’ll be joined onstage by SZA in a trailer for the upcoming spectacle.
In the 30-second clip, the “Squabble Up” rapper teased the performance while taking a phone call on a football field, which he remarked is “a lot bigger than what people think.” As the conversation continued, SZA approached him from behind with a cooler, dunking him with a blue energy drink as he mentioned he was “thinking about a guest performer.”
The pair have joined forces on several projects over the years including the single “All the Stars”—which appeared on the Black Panther soundtrack and earned them an Oscar nomination in 2019 for Best Original Song—and are set to embark on a joint stadium tour beginning April 19, but the “Nobody Gets Me” singer has also expressed interest in teaming up with Kendrick for a full-length collaborative album.
“I would love that,” she told Sherri Shepherd during a Jan. 8 appearance on Sherri. “I think that would be amazing. He’s such a genius. And a part of his genius is him being so elusive and so mysterious. And I love it.”

And SZA—who recently made her feature film debut opposite Keke Palmer in the comedy One of Them Days—was quick to commend the Pulitzer Prize winner for challenging her creatively.
“He’s a huge part of my fumbling and finding era,” she continued of Kendrick, “because I’m trusting all of his expertise and being thrust into these moments in the spotlight and saying yes. He’s so good at saying yes, but staying grounded. So I’m just like, ‘Teach me, sensei, what you know.’”

Lady G didn't raise the roof, she sang "God Bless America" and then she literally jumped off it. Well, sort of. After that high-flying start, the superstar singer broke into "Poker Face." It was thrilling; it was over the top; it was all Gaga all the time and fans went gaga for it. There was no meat dress, no blood, no giant glowing egg—just an action-packed performance that made you think that the "Bad Romance" singer was born to be on the 50-yard line.

2. Michael Jackson (1993)
In a masterful move that only the King of Pop could have the audacity to pull off, MJ stood on stage for a full 90 seconds (remember you only get 13 minutes max) without moving. The smooth criminal had the audience in the palm of his hand when he busted into "Jam." The master performer then broke into "Billie Jean" and "Black or White." There were fedoras, crotch grabs, leg spins (and kicks) and oh-so-much entertainment. The pop star then used the entire audience in Rose Bowl to create giant portraits of children as he closed with "Heal the World."
