Man found stabbed to death in front yard of Walker County home; woman jailed

A man was stabbed to death Tuesday morning in Walker County.

Officers responded to a residence on Austin Circle, according to a Dora Police Department press release.

When they arrived on the scene, they found a male unresponsive in the front yard. He was pronounced dead on the scene.

His identity has not been released.

The suspect, police said, was still on the scene when they arrived.

Pathenia Washington, 49, was arrested on a murder charge. She is being held in the Walker County Jail.
