A man was killed Monday night after the car he was driving left the road and struck a tree near Mobile, authorities said Tuesday.

Kristopher N. Bradley, 46, of Irvington, was driving a 2011 Honda Accord on Padgett Switch Road around 8:53 p.m. Monday when the vehicle left the roadway and hit a tree, said Alabama Law Enforcement Agency Senior Trooper Anna Peoples.

Bradley, who was not wearing a seat belt, was pronounced dead at the scene of the wreck about one mile south of Mobile, Peoples said.

Further information was unavailable as state troopers continued to investigate the crash.
