One victim critically injured after being shot while driving on I-65 in Homewood in 'targeted attack'
One victim was left with life-threatening injuries after being shot while driving on I-65 in Homewood near the Oxmoor Road exit.Sgt. Carr said in a "targeted attack," the shooter fired multiple rounds into the victim's vehicle, hitting the victim multiple times, which caused the victim's vehicle to crash into another vehicle. The victim was transported to UAB with life-threatening injuries. Police do not yet have a suspect. A portion of the I-65 southbound lanes are blocked off as Homewood police investigate and drivers are being rerouted off the interstate.

Carr said in a "targeted attack," the shooter fired multiple rounds into the victim's vehicle, hitting the victim multiple times, which caused the victim's vehicle to crash into another vehicle.
The victim was transported to UAB with life-threatening injuries.
Police do not yet have a suspect.
