Several men face soliciting prostitution charges in western Alabama

A law enforcement operation targeting prostitution netted several suspects in police custody.According to a news release, the West Alabama Human Trafficking Task Force charged five men with soliciting prostitution during a detail last Friday and Saturday.The task force said each suspect responded to sex advertisements online and arranged to meet and pay a woman for sex.Each of the men was arrested after arriving at the location and giving money to an undercover officer, said law enforcement.The news release stated the suspects were from cities including Tuscaloosa, Cottondale, and Camp Hill and were booked into the Tuscaloosa County Jail.Deep dive: WVTM 13 Investigates
