Severe storms cause injury and damage in Birmingham
One person was hurt when a tree fell on a house
One person was injured when a tree hit a house in Birmingham Sunday afternoon during a thunderstorm.It happened just before 3 p.m. in the 5300 block of Court P in Ensley, which is a street lined with large trees.Share with us: Upload your photos and videos via uLocalBirmingham Fire and Rescue (BFRS) crews arrived and said that a family was inside at the time. One person was injured but did not have life-threatening injuries.At about the same time a woman and her child were trapped in their car when a tree fell onto it and another car in the 800 block of 28th Street Southwest.The woman told WVTM 13 that BFRS crews were able to get them both out of the car quickly.
