THIS SEAT REPRESENTS PARTS OF JEFFERSON COUNTY THAT WERE PREVIOUSLY HELD BY FRED PLUM. HE RESIGNED AFTER PLEADING GUILTY TO WIRE FRAUD, CONSPIRACY AND OBSTRUCTION OF JUSTICE. THE DEADLINE FOR QUALIFYING WILL BE TUESDAY, JULY 25TH. THE PRIMARY WILL BE ON SEPTEMBER 26TH
