Viral TikToker Nara Smith Responds to "Hateful" and "Spiteful" Criticism

Nara Smith’s latest experience on the road took an unexpected turn.

The TikToker detailed the scary ordeal she recently went through while driving in Connecticut. In a series of slides shared on her Instagram Story Jan. 20, the 23-year-old explained that she was trying to drive home when it began to snow.

“I thought I would make it,” she wrote, “but ended up with my car sliding down a hill and blocking the road with my tires spinning out.”

Nara—who is married to fellow model Lucky Blue Smith—shared that she had the help of a local resident who moved her car to a parking lot by a French restaurant.

After enjoying her dinner while the snowplows came, Nara attempted to move her car again.

“Welll…I didn’t make it up the hill so the head chef got in my car and had everyone push it with no success,” she wrote on a slide that shows the men attempting to move her big white SUV. “The neighbor saw us struggling and tried pulling my car onto the main road with no success.”

“My wheel ended up breaking, so I left it there for the night. The owner of the restaurant were so kind and drove me home.”

Nara—who is mom to Rumble Honey, 4, Slim Easy, 3, and Whimsy Lou, 9 months—concluded her post with her gratitude for those who graciously helped her out.

“After sliding down the hill and almost skidding off the side of the road, I was on the phone with Lucky and said a prayer,” she wrote. “Everything that transpired after that was divine intervention. Everytime [sic] I felt hopeless or too upset to even form a clear thought, there was some kind of stranger helping me.”

“Whether it was driving my car for me, parking across from me and giving me emotional support or the plow driving ahead of me to make sure I made it safely,” she continued. “I’m getting emotional just thinking about it.”

Nara and Lucky—who got married in 2020—shared in December that they were relocating their family from Dallas, Texas to Connecticut. Nara made the reveal in a TikTok post on Dec. 6 that saw her walking around her new home with Lucky and Whimsy, sharing, “We bought our first home.”

“I convinced Lucky to get me chickens so I let him get the lake lol,” she wrote. “This year has been filled with blessings and I’m bursting with gratitude.”
