UPDATE: April 12:The Birmingham Police Department (BPD) reported two people have been arrested and charged in this homicide investigation.The BPD said Arnold Fuller, 27, and Daemar Martin, 22, each face a murder charge.Both are in jail with no bond.--------------------------------------------------------A 16 year old died in an apparent shooting in Birmingham during the early morning hours of March 29.The Birmingham Police Department reported Jada White of Birmingham was found lying on a sidewalk unresponsive on the 3000 block of Avenue F at about 2:30 a.m.The police department said she was suffering from an apparent gunshot wound.A second female juvenile victim was found nearby suffering from an apparent gunshot wound as well.The BPD said White died at the scene and the second victim was treated and released after a graze wound.It's believed the victim was with a group of people possibly trying to fight another group when shots were fired, said the BPD.The police department said White was a student at Jackson-Olin High School.No one is in custody.Just three days ago, March 26, another Jackson-Olin HS student was killed in a shooting on 3rd Avenue SW.
