Jack Schlossberg Shares NSFW Comment About His Grandma Jackie Kennedy & Usha Vance
JD Vance had to contend with one major scene stealer on his big day.
While the newly-appointed vice president had his family by his side as he took the oath of office at the 2025 Presidential Inauguration Jan. 20, one relative in particular seemed less than enthused about all the pomp and circumstance: his son Vivek Vance.
Indeed, as the 4-year-old—who wore a bright blue suit for the occasion—took in the proceedings alongside his father as well as President Donald Trump, he eventually laid his head along the ledge of the VIP section for a more restful stance.
In addition to Vivek, the former Ohio senator was also accompanied by his wife, Second Lady Usha Vance, as well as their other two children Ewan, 7, and Mirabel, 3.
Of course, as one family moved into Number One Observatory Circle, another departed. As former Vice President Kamala Harris’ four-year term came to an end, her stepdaughter Ella Emhoff—whose parents are former Second Gentleman Doug Emhoff and his ex-wife Kerstin Emhoff—reflected on her ups and downs as Second Daughter, admitting she was “feeling the full spectrum of emotions” amid the transition of power.
“I just want to say I’m so grateful for everyone who has supported me during this period of my life,” the 25-year-old wrote in a post on Instagram Jan. 20. “Some of my highest highs and lowest lows. For those who made it harder, you suck.”

Alongside a collection of photos with Lady Gaga as well as her older brother Cole Emhoff, 30—not to mention a meme featuring Vermont senator Bernie Sanders—Ella added, “It’s been truly insane and a [sic] honor being the 2nd daughter. Thank you for letting me do it in my own way.”
