Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds Request Gag Order For Justin Baldoni's Lawyer
Justin Baldoni is seeking a new scene.
The It Ends With Us director flew out of Los Angeles with his wife Emily Baldoni and their kids Maiya, 9, and Maxwell, 7, on Jan. 17, a source told E! News.
The sighting came amid Justin’s legal battle with Blake Lively—who starred alongside him in August's It Ends With Us, the film adaptation of Colleen Hoover’s novel of the same name being, of course, just the start of the duo's prolonged feud.
And when approached by paparazzi at Los Angeles International Airport, the Jane the Virgin alum noted in a video obtained by TMZ that he’s “grateful to be with the family.”
“We have amazing friends and family,” he said in the footage shared by the outlet, which also published photos of him and his family in Hawaii, “and faith.”
On Dec. 31, Blake filed a sexual harassment and retaliation lawsuit against Justin, his production company Wayfarer Studios and others. In the lawsuit, the actress alleges she and other It Ends With Us cast and crew members “experienced invasive, unwelcome, unprofessional, and sexually inappropriate behavior” by Justin and Wayfarer CEO Jamey Heath (who is also a defendant). She also accuses Justin and his Wayfarer associates—who she says includes his publicist Jennifer Abel and crisis communication specialist Melissa Nathan—of embarking on “a sophisticated press and digital plan in retaliation” for her voicing concern about the alleged misconduct on set.
Blake first detailed her allegations in a California Civil Rights Department complaint that was filed earlier in December.

The same day her lawsuit was filed, Justin, Wayfarer and others filed a libel lawsuit against The New York Times for its Dec. 21 article that cited the CRD complaint and was about a smear campaign the plaintiffs allegedly launched against Blake for her speaking out about the purported misconduct.
Fast-forward to Jan. 16, and Justin, Wayfarer and others filed a lawsuit against Blake, her husband Ryan Reynolds and her publicist Leslie Sloane for extortion, defamation, and other alleged wrongdoing.
Both Justin’s and Blake’s lawyers have slammed the other’s lawsuit and defended their own. The New York Times has also stood by its reporting.
Justin’s wife Emily—who made an appearance in It Ends With Us as Dr. Julie—has yet to speak publicly about her husband’s legal battle, but she's been in his metaphorical foxhole since they first started dating in 2011.
