Woman found shot at Birmingham apartment Sunday

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. —

Birmingham Police are investigating a shooting at an apartment building.

Officers were called to the 2900 block of Gallant Drive just after 4 p.m. and found a woman with a gunshot wound.

Police said she did not have life-threatening injuries.

Police also said she was apparently the only victim in this shooting.

No word whether anyone has been arrested.
