Two people were shot Thursday afternoon in a shooting involving Jefferson County deputy sheriffs.
The incident happened near the intersection of Fifth Avenue North and 11 Street North around 4:15 p.m.
One person - a female - suffered either a graze wound or injury from broken glass. The condition of the other - a male is not currently known.
Details surrounding the shooting have not been made public. The two wounded people were in a vehicle.
No deputies were struck by gunfire but one was taken to a hospital to be checked out.
The State Bureau of Investigation is leading the probe.
