NOW GROWING KING’S A NONPROFIT HERE IN BIRMINGHAM, WORKS WITH UNDERSERVED MALE YOUTH IN BIRMINGHAM CITY SCHOOLS, STARTING IN THE FOURTH GRADE AND STAYING WITH THEM ALL THE WAY THROUGH THE 12TH GRADE. IT’S SOMETHING THE NONPROFIT ORGANIZATION REFERS TO AS, QUOTE, THE JOURNEY OF KING, ADDING, YOU CAN’T PUT A PRICE TAG ON THE VALUE OF A MENTOR. OH, NOT AT ALL. IT’S CRITICAL. I THINK WE HAVE TO REALLY UNDERSTAND THAT ALL OF US ARE WHERE WE ARE BECAUSE OF OTHER PEOPLE. IT’S THE INPUTS THAT WE’RE IN OUR LIVES.
