Birmingham police investigating quadruple shooting at nightclub
There is not a suspect in custody
Birmingham police say four men were shot at a Birmingham nightclub early Sunday morning.Police got a call at around 3:10 a.m. that a person had been shot in the 1700 block of Third Avenue West in the Fairview community. When officers arrived they found a man who had been shot.Birmingham Fire and Rescue crews took him to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. While investigating that scene, officers were told that three more men had shown up at a hospital in a private vehicle who had also been shot. One of those victims had life-threatening injuries. Investigators learned that there was an argument at a nightclub in the area when another person opened fire on a group of nightclub patrons. Police do not have a suspect in custody.
