CHIP SCARBOROUGH IS LIVE IN IRONDALE WHERE COMMUNITY MEMBERS ARE HAVING SOME FUN. HEY, CHIP. HEY, JARVIS AND GLADYS. YOU KNOW, THIS REALLY IS A GREAT TIME FOR EVERYBODY. I WANT TO JUST TAKE A MINUTE AND SHOW YOU AROUND A LITTLE BIT. SO RIGHT BEHIND ME OVER HERE, WE HAVE A BOUNCE HOUSE WHICH HAS BEEN VERY POPULAR FOR ALL THE KIDS THAT ARE INSIDE RIGHT NOW. AND THEN JUST TO THE RIGHT, WE HAVE AN ANIMAL DISPLAY WITH HEIDI’S KIDS. LOTS OF ANIMALS FOR THE KIDS TO SEE THERE. WE HAVE THE PONIES. WE ALSO HAVE THE BABY GOATS OFF IN THE DISTANCE. THEY’RE JUST SO MUCH FUN. THERE REALLY IS SOMETHING FOR EVERYBODY HERE. GOOD FOOD AND GAMES. AND LET’S GO TO SOME VIDEO NOW. THIS IS THE THIRD ANNUAL. I LOVE IRONDALE DAY. IT’S HAPPENING RIGHT HERE AT IRONDALE CITY HALL. THERE’S ALSO A DJ AND LINE DANCING AS WELL AS KARAOKE FOR ANIMAL LOVERS. AS WE JUST SAW, WE’VE GOT THE PETTING ZOO AND CITY LEADERS SAY THIS IS JUST THE PERFECT OPPORTUNITY TO GET TO KNOW THOSE THEY SERVE. BUILDING A COMMUNITY, BUILDING THE FUTURE. SO IT’S VERY IMPORTANT TO HAVE COMMUNITY INVOLVEMENT THAT HAVE THE COMMUNITY TO COME OUT AND TO GET A CHANCE TO FELLOWSHIP WITH ONE ANOTHER. I’VE HEARD PEOPLE SAY, I DIDN’T EVEN KNOW THAT THAT WAS MY NEIGHBOR AND I’VE HAD A CHANCE TO TALK TO THEM. ALL I’VE SEEN SOMEONE THAT I HADN’T BEEN AROUND WITH IN ABOUT FIVE YEARS. OKAY, THINGS ARE NOT OVER HERE YET. YOU STILL HAVE A LITTLE BIT OF TIME TO GET OUT HERE AND ENJOY THINGS. I LOVE IRONDALE DAY RUNS UNTIL 6:00 THIS EVENING. LIVE FROM IRONDALE CITY HALL. CH
