The Texas boy was captured on his neighbor's doorbell camera, saying, "I was wanting to see if you knew any kids around 11 or 12 maybe, cause I need some friends real bad." Shayden told KFDA that his neighbors didn't have any children his age, but when they shared the doorbell camera footage on social media, he was overwhelmed with support and strangers contributed nearly $40,000 to a GoFundMe page set up for him.
