'It was all God': Family of Harlow Freeman overwhelmed after infant found safe

INVESTIGATING EVERY POSSIBLE LEAD IN THIS CASE. NOW, AS YOU CAN IMAGINE, FAMILY MEMBERS VERY UPSET, WORRIED AND THOSE OVERNIGHT HOURS WAITING FOR ANY WORD ON HOW BABY HARLOW WAS OR IF SHE HAD BEEN FOUND. WVTM 13, CHIP SCARBOROUGH IS LIVE AT CHILDREN’S OF ALABAMA, WHERE THEY TOOK THE BABY THIS AFTERNOON WITH REACTION FROM THEIR CHIP. OH, LISA, LOVED ONES SHARE OUR BREATHING. A HUGE SIGH OF RELIEF THIS AFTERNOON AFTER BABY HARLOW WAS FOUND SAFE AND SOUND THIS MORNING. THEN TAKEN TO CHILDREN’S OF ALABAMA HERE IN BIRMINGHAM. NOW, WE WERE ALONGSIDE FAMILY MEMBERS THIS MORNING IN PARRISH AS THEY RECEIVED WORD BABY HARLOW IS OKAY. NEVER GIVING UP HOPE. AUTHORITIES WOULD LOCATE HER AND ALL WOULD BE WELL. I MEAN, GOD IS GOOD. I MEAN, WE YOU KNOW, WE PRAYED AND PRAYED AND IT WAS ALL GOD THAT THAT KEPT HER SAFE. WHEN NOBODY WAS AROUND HER, ESPECIALLY STRANGERS, IF THEY WERE AROUND HER, GOD COMFORTED HER. HE FED HER LITTLE BABY WHEN SHE WAS HUNGRY. HE WAS THERE WITH THAT BABY THE ENTIRE TIME DRIVING HIS PRECIOUS ARMS AROUND HER. AND WE’RE JUST ECSTATIC, YOU KNOW, FROM LAST NIGHT TO EARLIER THIS MORNING, ALL THE GLOOM TO THE JUST THE THRILL AND THE EXCITEMENT THAT SHE’S ALIVE. AND AS A PRECAUTION, BABY HARLOW WAS BROUGHT HERE TO CHILDREN’S OF ALABAMA TO BE CHECKED OUT. SHE SAID TO BE DOING WELL THIS AFTERNOON. EVERYBODY SURE TO SLEEP A LITTLE MORE SADLY. The family of 9-month-old Harlow Freeman believes "God is good" after she was found safe less than a day after she was reported missing from her Parrish home. An Amber Alert was issued hours later and has since been canceled.Family gathered with law enforcement to help search and gain information, and celebrated when they found out that the baby had been found safe.“From last night to earlier this morning, how the gloom to the thrill of the excitement that she’s alive," said the infant's great-aunt, Lisa Gillott. "It’s overwhelming.”Gillott still had her work clothes on from Monday when WVTM 13 reporter Patsy Douglas spoke with her Tuesday morning. She said when she got the call about Harlow missing, she put on her shoes and ran to meet the family.Other family members also spoke about their relief that the infant was safe."We prayed and prayed and it was all God that kept her safe," said Melinda Hutchinson, Harlow's aunt.The child was taken to Children's of Alabama for evaluation and is said to be doing well.
