Less humidity but still hot through midweek

LITTLE AREA YOU’RE IN, THEY’RE SOUTH SHELBY COUNTY OR CHILTON COUNTY. SO, YOU KNOW, IT’S A GOOD AREA NO MATTER WHAT. YEAH, WE HAVE A FEW ISOLATED SHOWERS IN PARTS OF CHILTON COUNTY COUNTY RIGHT NOW. THEY’RE DRIFTING DOWN TO THE SOUTH PRETTY QUICKLY, AWAY FROM CLANTON. THERE ARE ALSO A FEW AROUND TALLADEGA COUNTY AND CALHOUN COUNTY. NOT MUCH RAIN TO BE EXPECTED HERE, BUT THESE LITTLE BRIEF SHOWERS ARE GOING TO LAST FOR ANOTHER HOUR OR SO. JUST SOUTHWEST OF STANTON, DOWN INTO PERRY COUNTY, NORTHERN AUTAUGA COUNTY, DALLAS COUNTY HERE, CLOSE TO PLANTER’S VILLE. YOU CAN ZOOM IN HERE ON THE SOUTHWESTERN PART OF CHILTON COUNTY. THAT’S A DECENT DOWNPOUR JUST SOUTHWEST OF STANTON, RIGHT OFF OF ALABAMA, HIGHWAY 22. IT’S OUT HERE IN SOME PRETTY RURAL TERRAIN. BUT COUNTY ROAD 307, YOU WIN IN THE RAIN LOTTERY. RIGHT NOW, THERE ARE A FEW OTHER AREAS OF RAIN AROUND THE REGION AT THIS MOMENT. MOST OF THEM ARE DOWN TO OUR SOUTH. BUT YOU CAN SEE THE LITTLE SPOTTY SHOWERS THAT HAVE DEVELOPED AROUND HERE. THE CLOUDS ACTUALLY DECREASING AS WELL. YOU CAN SEE THOSE FEW SHOWERS, THE FEW LEFTOVER PUFFY WHITE CUMULUS CLOUDS LEFT. BUT FROM BIRMINGHAM NORTH, THE SKY CLEARING OUT AS DRIER AIR IS GETTING SET TO MOVE IN. BUT JUST AS QUICKLY AS IT COMES IN, IT STARTS TO MOVE AWAY TO THE BLUE HERE REPRESENTS AIR THAT’S A LITTLE TOO DRY FOR RAIN. WE’RE ON THE LOWER END OF THE SCALE HERE, BUT LOOK HOW CLOSE THE HIGH HUMIDITY IS AGAIN. MISSISSIPPI, LOUISIANA, SOUTHWEST ALABAMA, AS EARLY AS WEDNESDAY, SOME SHOWERS START TO GET SPARKED HERE. AND THEN WE JUST GET COVERED UP IN THAT THICK, STICKY TROPICAL HUMIDITY. AGAIN THURSDAY AND FRIDAY. AND THIS IS GOING TO BE THE SAME THING GOING RIGHT INTO THE WEEKEND. AND THAT MEANS MORE SCATTERED THUNDERSTORMS. AND THERE’S A VERY GOOD CHANCE THAT THEY ARE CLUSTERED OVER THE NORTHEASTERN QUARTER OF THE STATE FROM BIRMINGHAM, NORTHEAST THROUGH BLUNT, CULLMAN, ETOWAH, CHEROKEE, CALHOUN, SAINT CLAIR, TALLADEGA, SHELL AND CLAY COUNTIES FROM BIRMINGHAM SOUTHWEST. NOW, GRANTED THIS COULD SHIFT A LITTLE TOWARD THE SOUTHWEST, BUT THIS IS MULTIPLE DAYS OF RAIN AND THUNDERSTORMS. I THINK FEWER STORMS AROUND TUSCALOOSA, LIVINGSTON, NEWBURN AND GREENSBORO THAN WE HAVE CERTAINLY FROM ANNISTON UP TOWARD THE GADSDEN AREA. NOBODY IS GETTING RAIN AROUND HERE TOMORROW, A FEW SHOWERS WEDNESDAY AND THEN SCATTERED THUNDERSTORMS BEGIN TO BECOME MORE COMMON TOWARD THE MIDDLE AND END PART OF THIS WEEK. SO, HARRIS, TOMORROW GOING TO SHAPE UP LOW 70S AT 7 A.M., GETTING HOT, BUT THE HUMIDITY LOW ENOUGH THAT WE DON’T HAVE TO DEAL WITH WIDESPREAD THUNDERSTORMS. A WIND OUT OF THE NORTHWEST LESS THAN TEN MILES PER HOUR FOR MOST OF THE DAY. STILL HOTTER ON WEDNESDAY, SCATTERED SHOWERS AND STORMS MAINLY WEST OF I-65. THURSDAY AND FRIDAY. THE HEAT IS BUILDING UP HEAT INDEX THEIR FRIDAY INTO SATURDAY, LIKELY IN THAT 100 TO 105 RANGE. AND THE ONLY HOPE FOR A COOLDOWN ON THOSE
